Melinda is a creativity, leadership, and executive coach who helps individuals and organizations tap into their innate creativity for greater productivity, collaboration, and innovation. She’s a lifelong lover of learning, certified by the International Coaching Federation, as well as a consultant, educator, and facilitator.

Melinda has a Ph.D. in psychology with a specialization in creativity studies, where her research focuses on mindfulness techniques to facilitate organizational creativity and collaboration. Melinda has facilitated workshops, group training sessions, and panel discussions on creativity and expressive arts, communications, the neuroscience of creativity, entrepreneurship and career management, mindfulness, and storytelling for a wide range of organizations. She has worked with executives and emerging leaders in a variety of industries, including technology, marketing/advertising, biomedical, government, higher education, and nonprofit/social enterprise. Melinda helps leaders develop their own effectiveness through communication, listening and presentation skills, emotional intelligence, relationship building, mindfulness, self-awareness, systems thinking, and vision/strategy, as well as guiding leaders to build and maintain thriving local, global, and virtual teams. She is the author of the best-selling book, A Mindful Approach to Team Creativity and Collaboration in Organizations: Creating a Culture of Innovation, published in 2020.
